Nigeria's ex-vice president Atiku Abubakar says Nigeria is sick

Former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar has spoken out against the current administration and the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Atiku stated that Nigeria is unhealthy under the PDP’s rule and that only the All Progressives Congress (APC) can bring about the much needed change in the country.
Atiku stated this on Saturday, November 8, during the inauguration of a hospital built by a member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Bimbo Daramola.
The former VP said:
“…Nigeria is not healthy. When you look at the economy and insecurity in the country, you will know that certainly, Nigeria is not healthy. The only thing that can salvage Nigeria’s situation is to seize the opportunity to bring about a change by voting in the APC.”
Atiku also condemned the culture of stomach infrastructure being practiced by the current Governor of Ekiti, Ayo Fayose, who is a member of the PDP.
“I believe the people of Ekiti surely don’t need stomach infrastructure. Would you forego education for stomach infrastructure? Would you forego healthcare for stomach infrastructure? Would you forgo infrastructural development for stomach infrastructure?” he said.
