South Korea has legalized adultery
The South Korean Constitutional Court at its plenary
session yesterday February 25th struck down a 60-year-old law which forbids all
act of adultery and punishes violators with two years imprisonment.
The presiding justice, Park Han-Chul while striking out the law said even though the act of adultery is bad, the country had no power in interfering in peoples private lives
The presiding justice, Park Han-Chul while striking out the law said even though the act of adultery is bad, the country had no power in interfering in peoples private lives
“Even if adultery should be condemned as immoral, state
power should not intervene in individuals’ private lives,” said presiding
justice Park Han-Chul.
In the last six
years, close to 5,500 people have been formerly arraigned on adultery charges
including nearly 900 in 2014. In 2004, 216 people were jailed for adultery but
the numbers dropped to 42 in 2008 and from 2008 till date, only 22 people had
been sentenced to jail.
Vin diesel is expecting his third child: The baby might affect Fast and Furious 7's Abu Dhabi world premiere
The Fast and Furious star and his longtime girlfriend, Paloma Jiménez, are expecting their third child together.
But because the baby is expected to
arrive around the time that Furious 7 hits theaters, The Hollywood Reporter reports that Diesel has backed out of
the ritzy premiere slated for March 10 at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, one
of the film's locations.
A studio source confirm that both the
junket and the premiere have moved from Abu Dhabi to Los Angeles.
As a
result, Universal has cancelled and subsequently relocated the world premiere
to Los Angeles.
A source told the trade magazine, "He wants to be
with his family at the birth; it's a beautiful thing. What human being
wouldn't?"
Universal is "happy to premiere the film in L.A.,
birthplace of the franchise, where a core fan base exists," a studio insider
told THR.

Taryn Manning: I would do Crossroads 2
So when Manning stopped
by the E! News studio on Wednesday to debut the music video for her latest single "All the
Way," we had to ask the 36-year-old Orange
Is the New Black star
whether she would ever reteam with her Crossroads co-stars—and her response was better
than we could have ever expected!
"I
would do Crossroads 2,"
the blond beauty, who looked adorable in bright yellow sweater, revealed to E!
News before adding, "And a Hustle
and Flow 2. And an 8
Mile 2."
In addition to admitting
she's totally game to take part in a number of sequels, the actress also gushed
over her former co-stars and had wonderful things to say about Zoe's look at
the Oscars.
"She
was stunning. I've known her since Crossroads,
which was a long time ago," she said with a smile of her former co-star,
whom she tweeted at on the night of the Academy Awards to tell her she looked
beautiful. "We were really good friends—we are—but I haven't seen her in
so long and I was just like, 'Wow,' she nailed it."
Of course, this isn't the
first time that a Crossroads sequel has come up in
conversation.
Back
in December 2013, Saldana appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live! whereshe was asked about
the unedited version of Spears' track "Alien," which was
previously leaked without
auto-tune.
"Well,
that's mean, because I'm pretty sure that 80 percent of our musical artists
would be mortified if they were caught singing without their own
auto-tune," Saldana said before applauding her former co-star.
"I
have a huge amount of respect for Britney Spears. She was the one big, big
celebs that I met when I started to work in Hollywood who literally was humble.
I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy, and she's
definitely an abundance of that."

Russian TV actor wakes up to find his testicles stolen by organ traffickers
Police in Russia have launched a full scale search for a
gang of organ traffickers including a sexy lady and doctor who drugged 30 year
old TV Soap actor Dmitry Nikolaev and removed his testicles.
According
to reports, Dmitry, a married man, met a random young blonde woman who
approached him at a bar after he finished a performance at a small Moscow
theatre. They both had drinks and afterwards she invited him to a sauna which
he agreed to. And there, he lost his testicles.
At the sauna, the two kissed and had some beer and that
was the last he remembered. He said he woke up the next morning at a bus stop,
feeling acute pain, with blood on his trousers. His testicles had been cut off.
The
police believe the lady and her gang intend to sell his testicle at the human
organ black market. The actor, now working as a children's animator, was too
embarrassed at first to explain what had happened to his wife, but later did.
They are now looking for his testicles.

Goldie Hawn Explains why a First Wives Club sequel was scrapped and hints she might return to acting on TV
Nineteen years after The First Wives club became a cult classic, one
of its stars has finally revealed why a proposed sequel was scrapped. Goldie Hawn, who played washed-up
Oscar winner Elise Elliot Atchison, explains that "the big money goes to
kids and young men." That means the comedy's principal trio—Hawn, Diane Keaton and Bette Midler—would have been underpaid had
they each reprised their roles.
"We were
all women of a certain age, and everyone took a cut in salary to do it so the
studio could make what it needed. We all took a smaller back end than usual and
a much smaller front end. And we ended up doing incredibly well. The movie was
hugely successful. It made a lot of money. We were on the cover of Time magazine," the 69-year-old
actress recalls in Harvard Business
Review's March 2015 issue.
"But two
years later, when the studio came back with a sequel, they wanted to offer us
exactly the same deal. We went back to ground zero. Had three men come in
there, they would have upped their salaries without even thinking about
it," she says. "But the fear of women's movies is embedded in the
culture."
The First
Wives Club earned $181,490,000 worldwide on a
reported $30 million budget.
Directed by Hugh Wilson and produced by Scott Rudin, The First Wives Club featured an all-star cast that
included Elizabeth Berkley, Stockard Channing, Stephen Collins, Jennifer Dundas, Victor Garber, Marcia Gay Harden, Dan Hedaya, Sarah Jessica Parker and Maggie Smith. Kathie Lee Gifford, Ed Koch, Heather Locklear, Gloria Steinem, James Naughtonand Ivana Trump also made special appearances.
Hawn appeared in four movies after The First Wives Club: 1996's Everyone Says I Love You,
1999's The Out-of-Towners,
2001's Town & Country and 2002's The Banger Sisters. Though
she voiced Peggy McGee in a 2013 episode of Disney Channel's Phineas and Ferb, the actress
has been focused on her MindUP program and spending time with her longtime
love, Kurt Russell,
plus their three kids and five grand kids.
The actress
was once attached to star in a pilot for HBO, but that fell through. Might she
return to acting full-time? According to Hawn, she is "looking at a
potential television series that's in its nascent stages."
Why has Hawn
become so selective about her TV and movie roles? "It's important, at
least for me, that while we're entertaining there's also something substantive
to talk about," the Private Benjamin actress says. "Whether you're an
actor, producer, writer, or director, it's all about the story you're going to
tell."
Mo'Nique says roles in Empire and The Butler ''just went away'': Lee Daniels told me I have been ''blackballed''
The former star of The Parkers, who won the
Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as the title character's
abusive, domineering mother in Precious,
writes in an essay in the Feb. 27 issue of The Hollywood Reporter that
director-producer Lee Daniels clued
her in just a few months ago.
Noting that
an Oscar win "normally does" lead to "more respect, choices,
money" in the business, Mo'Nique writes, "But I got a phone call from
Lee Daniels...And he said to me, 'Mo'Nique, you've been blackballed.' I said,
'Why?' And he said, 'Because you didn't play the game.'"
After steamrolling the competition
throughout the 2009-10 awards season, Mo'Nique famously didn't campaign for her
Oscar, going on to say in her acceptance speech that she was grateful to the
Academy "for showing that it can be about the performance and not the
politics."
"I said,
'Well, what game is that?'" her THR piece
continues. "He gave me no response."
People who would say that she's
"difficult," "tactless" or "tacky" would
"probably be right," the actress writes. "That's why I have my
beautiful husband because he's so full of tact. I'm just a girl from Baltimore.
But being from that place, you learn not to let anybody take advantage of
you."
Since
co-starring in Precious with Gabourey Sidibe, Lenny Kravitzand
an unrecognizable Mariah Carey, the 47-year-old actress only has a few
credits to her name, none of them major theatrical releases.
Mo'Nique also
writes that she was offered the role of Forest Whitaker's wife
in Lee Daniels' The Butler, a part that ultimately went
to Oprah
Winfrey; a role in the Daniels-produced Fox hit Empire;
and the role of Richard Pryor's grandmother [also now set to be played by
Oprah] in the upcoming biopic Daniels is working on—but, she adds, "they
all just went away."
In response to Mo'Nique, Daniels said
in a statement to THR:
"Mo'Nique
is a creative force to be reckoned with. Her demands through Precious were not always
in line with the campaign. This soured her relationship with the Hollywood
community. I consider her a friend. I have and will always think of her for
parts that we can collaborate on, however the consensus among the creative
teams and powers thus far were to go another way with these roles."
Eddie Murphy refused to play Bill Cosby for SNL40 because he won't kick a man when he's down
It had been 30 long years
away from Studio 8H for Eddie Murphy,
so clearly fans were super stoked to watch his return during the epic Saturday Night Live 40th Anniversary Special.
Unfortunately,
viewers were left disappointed because Murphy's time back on the hit NBC show
was so short-lived and underwhelming. However, Norm Macdonald revealed through a stream of tweets
earlier tonight that they had a different plan in mind—but it fell through.
Apparently,
Murphy was asked to play Bill Cosby for the Celebrity Jeopardy sketch, but
declined to take on the now-controversial role.
Iggy Azalea is taking a break from social media, says "the internet is the ugliest reflection of mankind there is"
The "Problem"
rapper returned home to California Wednesday after enjoying a romantic trip with Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young. The couple happened to
be photographed during their trip, and to Azalea's dismay, her bikini body was
criticized by faceless internet bullies. The musician, 24, expressed her
disappointment in a series of tweets, writing, "Just got back
from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it's shocking and unheard
of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol. I just want to have peace and
relaxation time without a perve with long distance lense hiding out taking pictures,
everyone deserves peace. I feel the hatred and pettiness i see online at all
times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that. To become
nasty because of the way I feel iam treated would be a disservice to my fans
and I promise i will try to keep smiling. But I also want to let my fans know
iam taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too
negative and draining."
"My
management will tweet/run my accounts from today onwards with updates etc
unless any message is signed -IA. Love you all. Peace out!" said Azalea,
whose North American concert series begins Apr. 14.
Azalea
added, "The Internet is the ugliest reflection of mankind there is."
In recent months, Azalea
has used Twitter to wage war on Papa John's Pizza after an employee
allegedly shared her contact information with a relative. After the rapper
ranted on the social networking site, the company issued a statement to E!
News, saying, "Privacy of our customers and employees is extremely
important to us. Papa John's has taken appropriate disciplinary action with
regard to the employee involved. We are reaching out directly to Ms. Azalea and
hope to resolve this incident and make it right."
On
several occasions, Azalea has used Twitter to defend herself against fellow rapper Azealia Banks. In 2014, Snoop Dogg repeatedly dissed Azalea's appearance
by comparing her to
Marlon Wayans' White Chicks character. The "Drop It
Like It's Hot" rapper later told Azalea that he was "sorry," but the damage was done.
The "Fancy" rapper got the last laugh, though, when she dressed up as the
character for Halloween.
Maggie Grace Engaged to Matthew Cooke
The Taken actress announced her engagement to Matthew Cooke via Instagram Wednesday. Grace's friend,
photographer Byron Atienza,
captured the sweet moment on camera. The actress quoted 13th-century Persian
poet and theologist Rumi in the first caption, writing, " The minute I
heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind
that was. Lovers do not finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all
along." The movie star, 31, added, "Matthew Cooke & I are so
excited to share our engagement with you guys! I could not feel more grateful
to share my life with this incredible man."
The
bride-to-be proudly showed off her bling in the first picture.
Celebrity
stylist and interior designer Estee Stanley told Grace that she looked
"Gorgeous!!!!!!"
For the
second Instagram photo,
Cooke dipped Grace. "We're all fancied up for @globalgreen tonight so we
thought - let's ask our friend to take a fancy photo!" the actress wrote.
"Since we've got the photo thing covered should we just elope?!"
Shortly after the backyard photo shoot, the newly engaged couple posed for
photographers at the Global Green USA's 12th Annual Pre-Oscar Party at Avalon
Hollywood.
At the event, Grace described her
ring to USA Today. "It's an
antique," she said. "It's from 1810."
Grace and
Cooke have yet to set a date. "We're just enjoying being engaged,"
she said.
The actress
has been seeing Cooke, the writer-director of How
to Make Money Selling Drugs, for some time. Grace previously dated her Lost co-star Ian Somerhalder, who is currently
engaged to Nikki Reed.
