Former
Attorney General of Lagos state, and Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church
of God, Professor Yemi Osibajo has be
chosen as Gen. Buhari’s running mate for next year's general election. He
beat Ameachi, Fashola and others to the VP’s seat for 2015 election.
This
is a little bit of Professor Osibajo’s biography.
He
attended University of Lagos and London School of Economics and Politics were
attend an LLB and LLM degree. He is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and he served
as the Lagos State Attorney General for eight years. He is a Senior Partner at
Simmons Cooper Law Firm. He was the Head of Public Law department in University
of Lagos from 1997-1999. He has also served as the Special Adviser to the
Attorney General of Nigeria from 1988-1992.
He was
admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 1979. He has
authored several books on civil procedure in Nigerian superior courts, rules of
evidence and justice reform.
