Rivers State born singer turned politician,
Gift Uwame, the one popularly called Muma Gee, is all set to
represent her people in the House of Representatives come 2015, after she
emerged triumphant at the Labour Party primary in the state, held on Tuesday,
9th December, 2014.

quietly decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after taking the
advice of her people and stakeholders going by the intrigues in the party,
pitched her tent with the not too popular LP and contested to represent the Abua/Odua and Ahoada East LGA Federal Constituency 1.
