Buhari has ordered the sack of DG's of NTA, VON, FRCN, NOA and others

President Buhari has approved the sack of the heads of the six information-related establishments under the ministry of information and culture. According to a statement shared on the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture's Facebook wall, Lai Mohammed, who is the Minister of information and culture announced their sack at a meeting he held with the chief executives.
The statement states this: "The Federal Government has disengaged the heads of the six information-related parastatals under the Ministry of Information and Culture. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, announced the disengagement during a meeting he held with the Chief Executives of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Voice of Nigeria (VON), News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Monday . The Minister directed the disengaged Chief Executives to hand over to the most senior officials in their various establishments. He thanked them for their service to the nation and wished them the best of luck in their future endeavours. The affected Chief Executives are the Directors-General of NTA, Mr. Sola Omole, FRCN (Mr. Ladan Salihu), VON (Mr Sam Worlu), NOA (Mr. Mike Omeri), NBC (Mr. Emeka Mba) and the Managing Director of NAN (Mr. Ima Niboro).
I agree that they should all be fired especially all the directors of NTA and FRCN. NTA directors have wrecked NTA. Why is it that our leaders cannot manage any government parastatals?  From NITEL to NIPOST they have wrecked all government establishments. NTA and FRCN have lost their glory. How many Nigerians still watch NTA? The only reason I watch NTA sometimes isa because of the accuracy in their news stories. They do their investigation before broadcasting it to us their audience. There is no iota of improvement and they have not properly gone digital like other stations. They still use the same old style and system. I guess if they change their management things will get better. Their programs and shows are poor compare to other station. They are last when it comes to TV production.  They don’t have programs that can catch their target audience. All these government establishments need a revival.
