Just
48 hours after setting the record straight about seeking professional help for
recent "emotional trauma," Ireland Baldwin took to
Twitter from rehab to defend her famous family.
"Today
I will practice tolerance, acceptance and love of others as they are, and
myself as I am," she began by sharing with her thousands of fans.
"This
is the last thing I'm going to say about everything that's been going on…Both
of my parents, step mom, Carmen, and friends were all there for me at all
times. Little do you know…We've never left each other's sides
#cystmuffins."
The
striking blonde shared a photo of Alec Baldwin visiting her in
the hospital, snacking on muffins, when she was admitted earlier this month for
what she thought was appendicitis at the time.
She
added, "I would also be so grateful if everyone didn't choose to attack
& blame anyone for what I chose to do with my life. I'm taking care of
me."
Meanwhile,
Hilaria Baldwin showed her support for her stepdaughter on
social media by tweeting, "I love you @IrelandBaldwin…You are so, so
loved."
Monday
afternoon, after reports first began surfacing, the 19-year-old model opened up
about why she had decided to enter treatment.
"I
checked myself into Soba for two weeks to just get away for a little bit. I'm
not much a party cat but I am here [dealing] with some emotional trauma and
getting the intensive therapy I needed in order to recover," she shared.
"I need to overcome everything that I had
been through and rid myself of all the pain I locked away in unreachable
places."
