Iggy Azalea is taking a break from social media, says "the internet is the ugliest reflection of mankind there is"

The "Problem" rapper returned home to California Wednesday after enjoying a romantic trip with Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young. The couple happened to be photographed during their trip, and to Azalea's dismay, her bikini body was criticized by faceless internet bullies. The musician, 24, expressed her disappointment in a series of tweets, writing, "Just got back from a great vacation, came online and saw apparently it's shocking and unheard of to be a woman and have cellulite. Lol. I just want to have peace and relaxation time without a perve with long distance lense hiding out taking pictures, everyone deserves peace. I feel the hatred and pettiness i see online at all times is at making me become an angry person and I cannot be that. To become nasty because of the way I feel iam treated would be a disservice to my fans and I promise i will try to keep smiling. But I also want to let my fans know iam taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining."
"My management will tweet/run my accounts from today onwards with updates etc unless any message is signed -IA. Love you all. Peace out!" said Azalea, whose North American concert series begins Apr. 14.
Azalea added, "The Internet is the ugliest reflection of mankind there is."
In recent months, Azalea has used Twitter to wage war on Papa John's Pizza after an employee allegedly shared her contact information with a relative. After the rapper ranted on the social networking site, the company issued a statement to E! News, saying, "Privacy of our customers and employees is extremely important to us. Papa John's has taken appropriate disciplinary action with regard to the employee involved. We are reaching out directly to Ms. Azalea and hope to resolve this incident and make it right."
On several occasions, Azalea has used Twitter to defend herself against fellow rapper Azealia Banks. In 2014, Snoop Dogg repeatedly dissed Azalea's appearance by comparing her to Marlon Wayans' White Chicks character. The "Drop It Like It's Hot" rapper later told Azalea that he was "sorry," but the damage was done. The "Fancy" rapper got the last laugh, though, when she dressed up as the character for Halloween.
