Donald Trump to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: 'You don't have a clue'

After one of the NBA's all-time greats made his displeasure with Donald Trump's presidential campaign known, Trump didn't hesitate in returning the message to former Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The businessman told the Hall of Famer he doesn't "have a clue what has to be done to make this country great again."
On Wednesday, a piece in the Washington Post penned by Abdul-Jabbar was clear in its criticisms of Trump, accusing the presidential hopeful of attacking journalists' First Amendment rights with his bullying style and resorting to personal attacks instead of offering substantial answers on issues such as immigration.
And later in the day, Trump apparently responded, as Abdul-Jabbar posted an image of his article to his Facebook page with what the six-time NBA champ claimed to be a message from the candidate:
"Kareem -
Now I know why the press always treated you so badly -- they couldn't stand you. The fact is that you don't have a clue about life and what has to be done to make America great again!
Best wishes
Donald Trump"
Along with the image, Abdul-Jabbar shared his thoughts:
"This note from Donald Trump in response to my editorial is the best, though inelegant, support for my claims. Here again he attacks a journalist who disagrees with him, not by disputing the points made but by hurling schoolyard insults such as 'nobody likes you.' But if you look behind the nasty invective, you find the assault still remains against the Constitution in an effort to silence the press through intimidation."
And with the Iowa caucus a little less than five months away, there's plenty of times for these two titans of their industries to continue slugging it out.

Kerosene likely cause of recent Air crashes - Otedola

Oil magnate and Chairman of Forte Oil Plc, Femi Otedola, has alleged that the frequent substitution of jet fuel with household kerosene (HHK) might be responsible for the recent air crashes witnessed in the country. In a letter he wrote to the Federal government, Otedola said this recent trend by some unscrupulous oil marketers is responsible for the rising cost of kerosene.

According to Otedola, because House Hold Kerosene shares some physical and chemical properties with Jet A1 fuel, fraudulent oil marketers are selling HHK as Jet A1 to unsuspecting international and local airline at the international market price which may be as high as N140/litre..

“The sale of HHK as substitute for Jet A1 fuel by some petroleum marketers to airlines is a rising trend that needs to be curbed.” Otedola in his letter said this new illicit trend has led to the influx of greedy oil marketers who are just after profit making. He said most of the marketers have no storage facilities for proper handling of petroleum products which are highly sensitive and susceptible to contamination. “The proper care and handling of ATK is paramount in maintaining safe aircraft operations. One of the requirements that operators with high safety standards try to ensure is that their fuel is free from contamination. Contaminated fuel can cause significant damage to the aircraft and engine. Damage can range from fuel system corrosion, clogging of fuel filtration components, failure of aircraft fuel system instrumentation, and even stopping the fuel supply to the engines during flight. But with proper handling procedures in place, fuel contamination capable of causing problems to the aircraft can be eliminated. Based on the foregoing, it is pertinent that the unwholesome activities of these mushroom operators be curbed in order to ensure the highest levels of safety and global best practice in the aviation industry in Nigeria,” he said.

Woman tries to sell her virginity for $16k but gets raped instead

Images of the moment a young actress who tried to sell her virginity for $16,000 makes her desperate escape, after she was allegedly raped during the encounter has emerged. The 20-year-old from Azerbaijan, agreed to meet a man she met online in the city of Perm, in central Russia.

Mikhail Dnistrian, 28, paid for her ticket, but when she got there it is alleged that the man she went to see said he had changed his mind, and tried to force her to work as a prostitute. She claims when she refused he beat her up and forced her to pose for erotic pictures before raping her at his flat.

She only managed to escape his clutches, it is claimed, by making a rope with sheets to let herself down from the third floor, but fell in the process, fracturing her hip.

Images of her alleged escape were taken by an eye-witness as the girl tried to clamber down the makeshift rope.

Police have arrested Dnistrian.

The woman told police she was on her own as both of her parents had died and she wanted to collect money to develop her acting career.

Dnistrian's girlfriend, who asked not to be named, admitted she was stunned after learning about the accusations, and claimed he had only ever been kind and gentle with her.

The court in Perm has said there are no plans for pursuing a case against her for prostitution or trying to sell her virginity and they are treating her as a victim.

Photos: School Principal hacked to death two weeks after she was threatened

2 weeks ago, Nokuthula Magwanyana, 45, was told to step down from her position as the principal of Villa Maria Primary School in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa or face death. The word 'resign' was boldly written across her office wall in red and on Wednesday August 26th, the killers made good their threats by brutally hacking her to death as she made her way home from school.
Her lifeless body was discovered along Table Mountain Road in Bishopstowe. Her body was slumped out of the driver’s door of her maroon Chevrolet. The lower half of her body was still secured with a seat belt inside the vehicle.

Magwanyana’s sister Toyi Mthembu, 54, who traveled from Johannesburg to be with her family, said they were devastated.

"She was pushed off the gravel road and from what I heard from her husband, she had several stab wounds and there was a big gash on her back and it looked like she had been hacked with a panga. She was still in the car, but her body was slumped out, she still had her seat belt on. The driver’s window was broken and the door was open. There was a pool of blood on the floor of the driver’s seat.” she said
Mthembu said her sister was born to be a teacher,
"She loved and understood children, even when we were growing up she always shared her knowledge. She was a loving and kind person, how can one human being do this to another? To a woman?"
