old flame shortly before shooting his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's
Day last year.
In journalists Barry Bateman and Mandy Weiner's forthcoming book "Behind The Door"they to have uncovered cell phone data alleging the 27-year-old Paralympian had secretly chatted with 25-year-old Jenna Edkins for nine minutes on the night Steenkamp was shot. Apparently, Edkins was saved in Pistorius's phone book as "Babyshoes."

It's known the on-again off-again couple had been seeing each other for
five years when Pistorius met Steenkamp, though it's unclear if that
relationship continued after he started dating Steenkamp.
According to The Mirror, the phone call was never brought to light during Pistorius's trial because police never discovered the call was made.
Pistorius has been found guilty of culpable homicide and will be sentenced later this month.
