After four years together Kate
Hudson and Matt Bellamy have called off their wedding plans.
The couple confirmed via Kate's
representative that they were no longer engaged on Monday as reports suggested
the actress has already moved on with Derek Hough.
The representative told People: 'Kate and Matt have been
separated for some time now.
'Despite this, they remain very close friends and committed co-parents.'

The pair shares a son Bingham Hawn
Bellamy, who was born in July 2011, while Kate has a 10-year-old son Ryder with
her ex-husband Chris Robinson.
The pair started dating in summer
2010 with Kate falling pregnant with Bingham just two months into their
relationship. They announced their engagement in April 2011, before he was
born.
Despite the 35-year-old actress' rep
saying the pair has been split for some time, they have certainly been keeping
up appearances by attending a number of red carpets together as a
couple.
They were last photographed together looking very happy on November 24 while out at children's party.
The Almost Famous star and her
36-year-old Muse rocker were also looking like a couple on November 21 when
they both attended Goldie Hawn's birthday.
At the combined birthday party and
charity gala there was no hint that something was amiss with the pair, who
laughed away and posed for pictures.
However, at the same party was rumoured new beau Derek Hough.
US
Weekly reports Kate
has 'hooked up' with the star and the two were at hot eatery Nice Guy in West
Hollywood enjoying drinks and dinner and staying past closing on Friday night.
Kate was photographed leaving the
restaurant holding hands with a male friend but Derek was not seen
leaving.
The actress and the 29-year-old Dancing WithThe Star's pro have become close as they both share a passion for dance.
The pair was spotted dancing the
night away last November at Cuban restaurant in Hollywood
last November.
Speaking to Shape magazine last year, Kate
said: 'My heart is really in contemporary jazz, but lately I’ve been ballroom
dancing with Derek Hough. It’s been a real blast.'
Kate has not been letting the separation get her down as besides hitting the town at home, the star spent most of last week in Miami, Florida.

The Bride Wars star headed down
south for Art Basel and enjoyed herself at a number of different parties.
Matt and Kate had been engaged since
April 2011, with Kate saying the long engagement did not bother her as her
parents Goldie and Kurt Russell were happily unmarried.
The star told Women's Health in October's edition: 'My parents aren't married and one of the reasons why they never got married is because they had been married before and they liked it the way it was.
'They didn't feel like they needed a
piece of paper to be committed.'
Kate was previously married to
Ryder's father, Chris, for six years with the pair splitting in November 2006.
