I'm back, baby! Kim Kardashian makes a stylish arrival home as she prepares to reunite with daughter North after business trip

She's been away from her daughter North West for 11 days while on a globe-trotting business trip.

And on Tuesday Kim Kardashian looked thrilled to be home as she arrived in Los Angeles at LAX in a stylish ensemble. 

The 34-year-old was most certainly eager to be reunited with her one-year-old child following a busy week in the United Arab Emirates. 

The reality star was dressed in a black blouse with matching pedal pusher tights as she slung a dark trench coat over her shoulders.

Standing tall in beige heels, Kim covered up with a pair of chunky sunglasses while pinning her long hair back into a neat ponytail.

The mother-of-one took only one bag for her carry on as she made sure to bring attention to her oval face with some bright red lip paint. 

Kim - who left her husband Kanye West at home in Los Angeles - documented her stay in the Middle East on her Twitter and Instagram accounts during the last week.

She was living the high life in the United Arab Emirates, where she promoting her new fragrance, Fleur Fatale.

On Sunday she headed out to the Dubai desert for a dune buggy ride with her assistant Steph Shep and a group of friends. 

The glamorous star looked totally out of her element and was forced to ditch her usual high heels and bodycon outfits in favor of a flowing cotton dress for the occasion.

Her stay in the Middle East, however, was extended longer than planned as she originally set out to make an appearance on Big Boss, India's version of Big Brother.

But Kim's hopes of conquering yet another market were dashed due to visa issues, according to the show's organizers. 

She was forced to cancel her trip to the South Asian country and her subsequent guest spot on Big Boss.  

Show runners told BBC that visa issues stopped the star from being able to enter the country, while Reuters reported that the undisclosed problems would take some time to resolve.  

Following the bad news, Kim detoured to Dubai, writing to her admirers on Instagram: 'To all my wonderful fans in India, I'm so disappointed I wasn't able to come to India as planned.' 

'When the opportunity presented itself to make the trip, there was a short window to coordinate all of the elements necessary to make it happen.

'Unfortunately, time ran out so the trip has been cancelled. I look forward to rescheduling and meeting everyone soon.'

Nobel prize writer Prof. Wole Soyinka says he is a cancer survivor

Literary Icon, Prof Wole Soyinka, revealed today at a press conference in Abeokuta Ogun state, that he's a cancer survivor. He said his appointment as a board member of the African Cancer Centre made him undergo a routine checkup last year which revealed he had cancer. He said he diagnosed with the disease in December 2013.

"It never occurred to me to test myself because men have their separate test like women and I have heard people who lost very dear ones, closed ones. They just told me, ‘Prof, we hope you’re having your own?’ And I told them I had one 10 years ago and he said, “No, no, do it regularly.” And by accident in December last year, I discovered that I had cancer.”

Prof Soyinka who is cancer free now after undergoing a vigorous treatment that ended in October this year, said although he was uncomfortable speaking about his experience, he was obligated to speak about it now so as to get rid of the public perception that being diagnosed with cancer is a death sentence

"For me, this is not a decision which I like but I felt I have all obligation, being a member of African Cancer Centre, and also having even donated a performance during the festival, fund raising for cancer, I am under obligation to make it known and to also demystify cancer. Many people feel it is a death sentence. Family feel it; friends, colleagues, they begin to look at you as if you are a ghost once there is rumor you have cancer. No, cancer is not a death sentence, it is curable, I have undergone the treatment and I am able to tell you that I even have a model, that’s my certificate.” he said

Students of the University of Jos continued their protests today following yesterday's chaos in the school over what they say is a 100% increase in school fees. ‎

The students say the fee was N27, 800 but has now been increased to #60,000.

A 35 year old Nigerian man was sentenced to death today November 25th by a Malaysian High Court for trafficking in 251.66 gm of methapethamine.

Abuchi Ngwoke, was arrested in May 2012 at a Malaysian airport.

Demi Lovato is doing what's best for her well-being, and sometimes that includes distancing yourself from certain people.

The 22-year-old pop star revealed during a radio interview this morning that she and fellow Disney darling Miley Cyrus are no longer friends, and now, E! News has the details behind what exactly happened between the former gal-pals.

An insider tells us that, "Miley is a wild card and Demi has made a point of not surrounding herself with people" who party too much, adding that "Demi's sobriety is very important to her."

"Demi tries to be reserved in public and cares very much about how she is perceived," the source continues, and mentions a recent encounter between the duo.

"About six months ago at a small gathering, both Miley and Demi were there. They were in the same room for only a few moments, and it was super-awkward, very girly high-school, pretending to ignore each other. They didn't speak, they didn't even make eye contact."

The status of their relationship was brought to question when a fan asked Lovato to describe her current connection with Cyrus on The TJ Show Boston's 103.3 AMP Radio today.

"Um…yeah…that, um…we're, we're like...we're acquaintances," Demi said. "It's life, and people change." She added, "I don't have anything in common with her any more. I wish her the best."

Although these two won't be spotted hanging out together any time soon, Lovato still had nice things to say about the Bangerz singer.

"Miley has been one of my best friends growing up and so I'm happy for her," the "Heart Attack" singer raved on Fox 31's Everyday in October 2013. "She's doing what she wants to do and this is her time to break out and figure out, you know, what she wants to do in her career and her image and everything...I'm happy seeing her happy because I love her so much. And, you know, she doesn't care what people think, nor should she."

Kim Kardashian has been enjoying herself while taking a tour of the Middle East, and has been taking her fans along for the ride! The reality star has been Instagramming her entire trip, and most recently posted photos of her dining out with a group of people that included French Montana!

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has been detailing every second of her trip, which not only included dinner dates with Khloé's beau but also involves getting crazy in cars! Kim and a pal went dune riding in the desert, and despite looking calm, cool and collected while strapped into her vehicle, we doubt she could have kept her cool when the car tipped onto its back wheels!

But that wasn't Kim's only crazy ride in Dubai. She also posted a picture of a Rolls Royce casually parked in front of a camel, which she captioned, "Today's vibes #Desert #Dubai."

Her entire vacation so far has been nothing but adventure, at least as far as her picture profile is concerned. She also debuted a photo of herself in a helicopter overlooking the luxurious, sail-shaped Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.

While Kim was getting crazy in the Middle East, French's girlfriend was partying it up at the American Music Awards with Kylie and Kendall Jenner! The youngest Kardashian sister told E! News that when her sisters asked her if she wanted to go, she couldn't turn it down.

"Kendall and Kylie asked if I wanted to come, and why not have a sister night? Let's have fun and do this," she said, noting which performance she was looking forward to the most. "Someone in this group told me that Beyoncé is performing, so if she's not, I will kill whoever told me that rumor."
